Felt super good today...I walked a mile! First time in a while! I also did a little mowing (we have a super light push-mower so I promise I wasn't being drug around by some monster machine!), I was able to walk a little in the backyard to check out what Tesla has been doing...grass is knee high but the garden is getting there!! Super excited because a lot of our sprouts are ready to be buried in the garden!! My whole back porch is covered in sprouts that we grew from seed that can just go right in the ground in their containers (I'm lazy and like things to be easy lol). Next year will be even better because we are still getting things set up this year. Kids just bought the house in Aug. 2018 so we were more focused on inside stuff at first. We still have lots to do both inside and out but we are chipping away at it! So happy to have a place to be that's mine!

Feeling a little bit better today again...stepped on the scale and had to re-do it...twice I am at 280 today with all my clothes on and the binder on. I normally weigh in my pjs which are MUCH lighter than my clothes so I'll be interested in the transition back to "normal". I just can't walk around without the binder yet and I need to have clothes on to wear it because it will chafe the are where my incisions are if I don't so...clothes on it is!! Super exciting though because I've only hit 280 once before and that was when I was really doing it right. I was having a very hard time in the months before surgery...I just needed to get in and get it done with. The anticipation was killing me! But now it's done and I have no choice about following the rules...breaking them leads to disastrous events lol. And it just feels nice to be listening to my body again. Following their diet before was just hard and didn't really feel right. I had to eat when I wasn't hungry and not eat when I was...now I'm never hungry but I need to eat to have energy so...I'm eating for energy. And I'm mostly making my my goals...yesterday I was a little below goal, I just wasn't quite doing enough but I will do better today!!

Hey guys! I'm feeling better today than I did yesterday so hopefully I'll be able to get in some more walking. Nothing too strenuous but it's kind of nice so I want to at least get in some quality outdoor time. I can't walk in the yard, it's too lumpy and I will fall. Tried yesterday and quickly realized my foolishness. I will try again when my balance is better. I'm not really losing weight yet but boy were they telling the truth about diminished appetite. I really struggled yesterday to make my minimum protein goals (65-80g of protein). I am drinking smarter today, just having my protein drinks until I get closer to goal then I can let myself have some plain water. I'm really craving the ice cold water right now...I don't even want anything else. They tell you that you won't be able to drink more than a sip or two at a time but they cannot prepare you for the reality of it. I literally CANNOT drink more than a sip or two at a time. I am drinking more at a time today than I was yesterday though so...clearly things are looking up! I woke up at 8am yesterday and didn't go to sleep until 2am so that I could get to my minimum protein goal. Woke up at 10am today and I'm doing better than I did yesterday already but again...they cannot prepare you for the reality of not being hungry at all and not being able to drink much. It's sooooo weird!
