Ok I wasn't going to do it, but today was as good as any for a cheat day. So I went for it. I'll tell you the bad stuff I had first: honey baked ham, mac n cheese, and a tablespoon of "candied" sweet potatoes, and a beer. But I also had steamed veggies and I passed on dessert and NO Easter chocolate.
All and all, no so bad.

I'm feeling a lot better since my last entry. I'm getting the "no refined sugars" thing down. Because it's a holiday, I didn't go to the gym today. However I've been good with the gym. I actually jogged instead of walked yesterday.

I've been following my diet and exercising pretty well. Not well enough to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I can tell something is wrong. I'm constantly in the bathroom, I feel weak, and my vision is blurry. I have a doctor's appointment soon. But I already know what she's going to tell me.
I think I may have tried to "shaped up" a little too late.
Screw this!
I'm not afraid.
Diabetes is not going to get me like it got the rest of my family!
