Not a happy camper today. I followed my WOE, in fact I ate less that usual as I was only eating when hungry and it seemed when I was engrossed in a project, I just never thought of eating. Thought I would see a 3 lb loss...instead I stayed the same! And now my chest is filled with itchy hives. I told my allergist I thought the 'unexplained' hives were stress related. He says no. Well, I think he just might be wrong!!!!
I'm just bummed. Think I will take my measurements today.
It looks like Hermine is moving out to sea and we won't be hit with it or might just get the tail end. For this I am very grateful. Hurricane Sandy had left devastation up the east coast....so for those near the ocean, I pray this change in forecast stays .
I'm bummed for another reason today. I always enjoy reading theolliefellow's journal and her responses to other's journals. I find her entries to be informative and thought-provoking. Well, I read the entries via my instant emails, but I come here and they say "an unexpected error has occured" and poof they are gone! Really!!! I didn't realize 'big brother' was watching and entries are being monitored. This is sad... I believe everyone's truth should be allowed to be posted.

Good morning dearies!!!!
We are waiting on Hermine!!! Last night dh tied down all the outdoor furniture and put all the small items in the storage chest. I need to get out the battery operated lanterns and radio. Last forecast said that Hermine was making a 'turn' over our city before heading on out....we are supposed to be dealing with 3 days of winds up to 75mph! Scary stuff.
The good news....I continue following my WOE.

Let's see if I recall how to add a photo here. I thought I would share with you what I do to keep myself busy during the day as I retired on disability in 2002. I am a crafter and one of the things I love to do is make greeting cards. This one I also colored the image.

Good morning!
My day is starting much earlier than normal...it's raining and dark and gloomy...yuck!!!!
I'm staying the course and I continue to find myself in a place where food is there for nourishment not to control my emotions. Pretty cool! I still struggle to get enough water in each day....working on that!
The summer is almost over....time is fleeting....so, if not now, then when?
