Hey everybody, Well last night it took me an hour to do my weightlifting routine. I introduced 2 new exercises for my chest last night & boy can I feel it today. I was reading an article this morning that I thought was very interesting. The article said that you should use several methods for tracking your weight loss. The article said that a scale is sometimes not accurate because you could be retaining water,gaining muscle, hormones are out of whack, & pre-menstruating. In addition to your weight, you should also be tracking your body fat percentage, girth/circumference measurements and also a picture of your body every 4-6 weeks.I thought that was very interesting. So that helps shed light on when you don't see the scale go down. I hope this sheds some light for other people as well. I have another saying for today. The saying is, "IT WILL HURT. It will take TIME. It will require DEDICATION. It will require WILLPOWER. YOU will need to make HEALTHY DECISIONS. It requires SACRIFICE. You will need to push your BODY to the max. THERE WILL BE TEMPTATION. BUT, I promise YOU, when YOU reach your goal, IT'S WORTH IT!" I hope this helps someone today. I hope everyone has a great day & weekend. Well last night was my first night back in the gym after a week. I missed a week getting ready for Passover. It kicked my butt last night. I usually got so much energy while & after the gym. I left the gym so tired. I feel a little sore today but I'm going to push through it. I know that I can't afford to miss a week again thou. I was going to start my 30 day fast yesterday nut then I made it a challenge & I decided to wait to start with everyone else. I didn't think it would be fair if I had several days head start. Well I finally weighed myself & I'm a little disappointed. I went up in weight. I know that when I started back to eating food I didn't go over 1200 calories a day plus I haven't been in the gym. It sucks. I have to find out where I went wrong at. I'm not for sure if my body is getting use to having food. But my clothes are loser than what they were a week ago. I don't know if I have gained lean muscle or what. I know that it's not because I made bad food choices. I ate no sweets, bread, pasta, cheese, fried foods, fast food, or red meat. I mostly ate fish & veggies. I did have a little turkey. I ate some fruit & some nuts. I drank juice & water. No soda. I'm hoping that's what it is. I have added more juice this week getting ready to prepare for another fast. My energy is coming back. It wasn't so hard to get up at 4am this morning to workout. I have a very long day. I hit the floor at 4am I workout for an hour. Then I get ready for work. I get to work at 6am & I work for the next 11 hours straight. Then I go home change & hit the gym for another 45minutes to an hour. Sunday, Tuesday, & Thursday are my weight lifting days & Monday & Wednesday are my water resistance interval class in the water. The class is an hour long. Then I come home cook, clean & by 10:30 at the latest I'm in bed for the night. At least I know with this lifestyle I keep moving. I have a saying that I found & I would like to share it with everybody. The saying is, "Exercise to be Fit,Not Skinny. Eat to Nourish your Body And Always Ignore the haters, doubters & Unhealthy examples that were once feeding You. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOU REALIZE!"I hope whoever reads this takes this to heart. Good morning everybody. Well last week I finished a 36 day juice fast. I felt so accomplished. It's been a week that I have been eating solid food. I thought I missed food more than I actually did. I had so much more energy when I was on my fast than when I am eating solid food. I have been very sleepy & sluggish especially after eating a meal. I have stayed under 1200 calories a day. I ate mostly veggies, fish, nuts & fruits. I had no red meat. I did have some turkey & chicken. I did drink juice with some of my meals. I didn't work out from Monday to Saturday. I haven't lost any weight so far I think I have hit a plateau. So today I decided to start another 30 day juice fast. I miss the energy I had while on it. I may go longer once I hit the 30 days. I shall see. I hope everyone had a great weekend & I hope that everyone is striving & reaching from within to slowly make their weight loss goals. If you are persistent then you will meet your goal. I read this saying & it goes like this, " One bad meal can't make you fat just like one good meal can't make you skinny" One bad or good meal won't make the difference. I like that. So don't give up on yourselves together we can help one another to help yourselves achieve what we feel at the time is the impossible. Learn to love yourself & be good to your body.

Hey everybody, well on Monday the 25th I completed a 37 day juice fast. I felt so accomplished. Dinner was the first meal that I ate. I thought I missed food more than I did but that's not the case at all. For the last several days I have eaten greens, fresh fruit, salmon, & some mixed nuts. I am so sluggish now. I think I am going to go back to juice for the majority of my meals. I have drank juice after coming off my fast but my am so tired & seem to have no energy. I do not like how I feel. I loved the way I felt while I was doing my fast. I may end up doing another fast. I really don't miss food. I think it was more of a mind thing. I have lost a total of 50 pounds from my highest weight & a total of 35 pounds from my fast. Not bad. I lost 35 pounds in 37 days. I think on April 1st I may just do another 30 day fast. I may just push it to 60 days. I will see how I feel. I hope everyone had a great weekend & keep up all the great work that you guys are doing.
